Who we are

This site is run by Cheshire Talent Partners Ltd, trading as CTP Group. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17319902, at 15 Station Road, Weaverham, Northwich CW8 3PY. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form. That is your name, your email address, and, depending on which form you use, your phone number, your organisation, the size of your organisation, whether you pay the apprenticeship levy, the roles or courses you are interested in, when you want to start, and anything you write in the message box.

If you post a vacancy, we also collect the job details and any files you upload, such as a job description or your logo.

We record where you came from, for example whether you arrived from LinkedIn or from a link someone sent you. This is a source label, not a profile of you.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third party analytics that follow you around the internet. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site.

The shortlist feature

If you save apprenticeship standards to a shortlist, that list is stored on your own device and nowhere else. We cannot see it. If you then make an enquiry, your shortlist is sent with it, so we know what you are asking about. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, and to give you accurate advice. Funding eligibility depends on things like organisation size, age and prior qualifications, so if you do not tell us we cannot help you properly.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send us. You are not obliged to give us anything, but the less you give us the less useful our answer will be.

Who we share it with

This one matters, so read it.

Training providers. If you ask us to arrange training or an apprenticeship, we will share your details with the provider or providers best suited to it, so they can quote and enrol. We only do this to progress what you have asked for. We will tell you who we are approaching.

Employers. If you are looking for an apprenticeship and we put you forward for a vacancy, we share your details with that employer. We will always ask you first.

Our systems. Form submissions are processed by Netlify, who host this site, and are stored in our own customer records system. Both are subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for marketing by anyone else. We do not add you to a mailing list because you made an enquiry.

If you are under 18

You are welcome to contact us about apprenticeships and vacancies, and we will treat your information with the same care as anyone else's.

If you are under 16, please talk to a parent, carer or teacher before you send us your details, and ask them to be involved in the conversation. If we realise we are dealing with someone under 16 without an adult involved, we will ask for one before we go any further.

If you are a parent or carer and you would like us to delete something your child has sent us, email us and we will do it, no questions asked.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go anywhere: two years, then deleted.

Where we arrange training or a placement: six years after it ends, because funding and audit rules require records to be available for that long.

Vacancy postings: removed from the site after the closing date, and deleted from our records two years after that.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or object to how we are using it. Email karl@cheshiretalentpartners.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

Security

This site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people at CTP Group who need it to do their job. If something goes wrong and your information is at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office within the required timescales.

Changes

If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we will tell you directly.
